Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There should be copper armor that allows you to have special abilities, I haven't quite thought of what they should be at though

Copper tools are a must have, the metal is everywhere right now and copper IRL was one of the first metals utilized in the same way for the same reason.

Copper armor sounds dangerous in bad weather.

Quite authentic. For example, Goliath wore copper armor.

Perhaps copper armor could be a replacement or secondary armor for chain, as I am seeing it everywhere. No complaints for its frequent appearance, though! Same recipe as other armor, with not much more durability than leather. Also, the armor could wear down faster from a hit in rain (good idea, with the oxidation).

Yes.  Copper armor weapons and tools.  Better than stone less than iron.  Copper wire with red dust for electricity over distances.   At the very least copper fences walls and stairs.  Slabs.  Copper bars, like iron jail bars.

I think the best way to incorporate a copper toolset would be for it to be in between stone and iron. The armor and tools would oxidize, which would make it so that you had to repair or replace it frequently. Especially since stone doesn't have a corresponding armor (unless you count chainmail, which can't be obtained very easily) it would be good to have an armor between leather and iron, and copper has basically no uses, despite being really common.

Copper armor can maybe have copper/lightning rod capabilities to absorb lightning and redirect it against hostile mobs or speed boost.

Copper armour should be in-between gold and iron armour but with better durability than gold, should not have any special abilities as that would make Minecraft feel like a mod

What I thought of for copper tools is that it should be better than stone but under iron since copper is more common than iron and maybe you can use copper pickaxe for example to mine gold and red stone but iron still mines diamonds and lapis so the iron is not useless due to copper and the armor is under gold but better than leather and maybe a cool thing Mojang could do is make the copper tools oxidize while the durability goes down and then it gets full green and breaks
