The user Nifty Nemesis already hinted at this idea on a post of theirs a while ago (though they only specified on putting more ageable blocks), but didnt expand on it, which I'll try to do. It would be awesome if we could toggle on specific aging settings on the menu (maybe with their own menu tab) for both "normal" and already ageable blocks by default.
- We could define the "aging" intervals for the blocks that can be toggled this way. Obviously stuff like obsidian, redstone circuitry and end portal blocks cant age but everything else would be fair game.
- Make it possible to choose whether you would like to make the aging process destroy blocks randomly after a certain area of them has reached the last stages of the aging process.
- Nature regrowth and "invasion" option i.e. whether forests can regrow after a certain area has been chopped down and if plant blocks/structures can start to grow inside or around a building that is exposed long enough (this would also be adjustable on the menu). In the cases of the desert and tundra this option allows for snow and "sand dunes" to swallow most of the building.
- Structures age option : will structures in unloaded chunks already be rundown or pristine ? Will they all be the same "age" or randomly assorted between "new" and "very old" ?
- "Old villages" have higher chances of being bigger, being near structures and having houses/workshops built with mossy variants of stone blocks only. New villages will be smaller and made of wood.
