As someone who used to play on 3ds edition, I feel overwhelmed at the size of infinite worlds, your spawn is insignificant and there is always more out there so it is under appriciated. You could say use classic, but that is smaller than small.
I suggest we have a cube world mode, that would encourage taking care of our minecraft biomes, because even though it would be big, it won't be infinite, this also would make each world unique and special, and it could encourage taking care of the earth, because it too is limited and special.
Each of the 6 faces could be the size of a large world option like on older editions, and you could pass over without noticing.
When you walk in one way long enough, you'll load your original point.
The nether and end in this mode would be looped too
New features that could be added are globes/cubes that fill out as you explore, seasons, and new biomes like arctic, and equator tropics.
The world would be divided into continates like real life and have small islands scattered throughout the seas
Time would be different on each face of the cube and so would seasons
This would be a cool option for servers where you could make countries and roelplay with friends
A new achievment could be earned by filling out the globe and it would say "Take care of it"
