There's a problem in Minecraft: most building blocks are difficult to obtain in large amounts. I find myself always using stone and wood, as those are the easiest to renew (using cobblestone generators and bonemeal). This can make builds boring and limited.
Clay is an important building block, but it is unfortunately non-renewable in Bedrock edition (and difficult to renew in Java). Even with the addition of lush caves, it is undesirable to destroy environments to get large amounts of blocks.
Sand and gravel are important for sandstone and concrete, but they are also difficult to renew. Wandering Traders aren't likely to sell sand, and you'd have to waste a ton of gold for Piglin barters to get gravel. Same goes for blackstone and nether bricks.
In conclusion, there needs to be a lot more easily renewable building blocks in Minecraft, as well as easy Dirt, Netherrack, and End Stone for terraforming. As these blocks are meant for building, they won't be overpowered to have in larger amounts. It gets boring to rely on wood/stone for survival builds!
