Variated Features Of Minecraft Versions

I realized that some may LOVE the features in 1.9, But hate the combat, So why not give them the ability to have 1.9 but with 1.8 combat, Or like with caves and cliffs, Some may LOVE the new features, But they want the normal generation.. So have 1.17/1.18 without the generation but with the features, I feel like the community would love being able to have variation if they don't like some features.
