When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

make dark oak doors block light

i was playing in creative mode a few minutes ago and i put up 2 dark oak doors because in my mind, they would block the light since they're completely solid and they don't have windows. I was trying to make a cozy bedroom for myself and all the light leaking in from outside didnt give it the feel that i wanted and there was nothing i could do about it. 

it would be cool if when crafting, we had the option to make either a solid door or one with windows. the solid doors would act like walls against light and doors with windows would let light in. 

Glass doors would also be a cool addition.

    I've never thought about that, but it would be a cool concept if you could have window and window-less variants of all the doors and trapdoors! And yes, the glass door is something I've always wanted
