Improved hopper mechanics

Make hoppers funnel nonstackable items like armour and tools into furnaces. Therefore making mob farms that drop excess of these items not complete useless. I personally have a gold farm, mob grinder and raid farm and don’t like spending hours getting a few hundred nuggets from manually putting everything in the furnaces. Anyone one who has these farms or at least a bulk of extra tools and armour that one may want to smelt knows my pain, so let’s see if we as a community can get this mechanic changed and make Minecraft a better functioning and more pleasant game.     This is a legitimate case because it will save time with higher output too and make sorting easier.

    It is already possible to sort out nonstackable items to put them into furnaces using the built in hopper mechanics to sort the stackable items into chests first
