Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The steam should be able to move blocks like a piston when trapped and allowed to build up starting with blocks that are made up of or gapped by a different material than the rest of its containment at a relatively low or medium pressure, or if no such route is available whichever area is effectively the weakest link at the pressure limit. Iron should also conduct heat like copper albeit to a much lesser extent. Different materials should have different pressure limits before experiencing block displacement along a weak link. Excessive pressure build-up breaking a weak link should result in depending on the pressure at worst the displaced blocks being launched a short distance and hot burning steam shooting out like a jet until the pressure decreases. A steam mechanic like this would be amazing.
