sticky redstone

Redstone has been a great thing for Minecraft I was wondering if you could make a green version of Redstone that doesn't connect to Redstone and could be placed on walls instead of the ground and maybe only walls I would imagine the recipe like this 8 Redstone on the outside and one slimeball in the middle like making stained glass now there are ways to go around this like putting Redstone torch ladders (that's what I call them) to get to high places but that sometimes doesn't work for exact placement Redstone but I understand if you don't add it but it would be kind of fun as a addon.
