I know everyone always says they want a quiver. Here is a simple mechanic idea to sort of do that without being OP and without cluttering up the GUI. You just take a bow and a stack of arrows and combine them in your crafting grid. Now your bow will display it's durability, but also a number of arrows (up to 64). The combined item only takes up one slot, and in addition to saving one slot it also makes it easy to specify which arrows you are using.
This also changes how the Infinity enchant works. Instead of being truly infinite now it just lets you stack more arrows on the bow, with three levels x10, x100, and x1000 (yep, that 64,000 arrows you can put on your infinity bow at once with Infinity III, for large numbers the display will just give you a rounded number like 10k). The tradeoff for it not being truly infinite anymore is that you can, once again, combine Mending with Infinity. Once you have linked a bow to a specific type of arrow the only way to switch it is to use up all the arrows... I thought about being able to just swap them but I couldn't think of a good way to deal with someone suddenly getting 64k of arrows back!
I suspect people will start making multiple bows linked to a different types of arrows.
