Combining Texture Packs

Imagine that when you click "Edit World" on any of your Minecraft worlds and scroll down to resource packs, you are then met with the option to select 1 to 3 texture packs, instead of just 1 like normal. If you are to select 2 or 3 texture packs, and then hit a "confirm" button, it will bring up the "creative menu" that list every item from the game.

The first texture pack you selected, will be the texture for every item you see, to start you off. You can then select 1 item at a time from this creative menu, and change it to 1 of the other textures from the other texture packs you previously selected. You can do this as many times as you like! Once done, you will hit confirm, and you will have created your own unique combined texture pack! Simply create or open your world now to experience it!

What i like about this idea is it further encourages players to use the minecraft market if youre not able to make custom textures, and allows players to not be stuck with textures that they dislike! A win for both the developers and the players!

    Wow you read my mind! I was thinking the exact same thing and searched to see if anybody else thought about it, I even had the same UI idea, I also like how you too emphasized the idea that it would further boost marketplace sales, I’d buy full texture packs just to get some specific textures, imagine combining Adventure Time and Steven Universe! So many possibilities, I hope the devs take a look at this and realize how much potential it has because it benefits the players, the creators and the devs! What an awesome concept, thanks for writing this out and sharing :)

    Really glad you like it! If it becomes a thing, im looking forward to creating the ultimate winter texture pack (TP) with Skyrim + Winter Crafts TPs, also i may add in Halloween TP because i really love spooky thing

    I have been playing for the past few months again, and really love making castles and have been trying to find the perfect medieval pack to complete the feel of the world and every time I purchase a pack something is wrong with it or it lacks something the previous pack had, I wanted to suggest this exact feature to say this block is good and that block isn't, so you perfectly read my mind... I find Armour to be the common issue, but also some older packs that haven't been updated then lack custom textures and revert to the default, so it would help blend the packs when they lack something the others have. I hope this becomes a feature cause as a console player I don't want to have to try the pc work arounds just to do this seemingly simple task.
