Multi-player split screen earning achievements on switch

I'd like to play minecraft with my sister, but only I have minecraft on my switch. So we can only use split screen, we want to do a challenge where we get as many achievements together in a set amount of time. But only I can earn achievements on spitscreen with the switch.
