Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Daggers (Speed PvP)

Daggers should be added in Minecraft, as an instant damager without recharging, like the swords once did in 1.8. It would deal way less damage, and be completely useless against shield, but get back the old 1.8 combat mechanics. It would be weaker than the sword that still needs recharging for critical damage, but a more flexible weapons, where speed is the key in contrary to the timing for swords and the big damage of the axes.

 

Daggers would be made with 1 stick and one of an ore (iron, gold, diamond) or wood or stone.

    Not a bad idea. But the problem is, this would serve almost absolutely no purpose. Comboing? So can you do it with every other tool for a quick push-away. The hoe is apparently supposed to have further reach in a future combat update as of 2021, which might make the hoe a deadly weapon. Since it honestly doesn't serve much purpose anyway.
