LODS and 3d Chunks

16x16x16 cubes rather than the 16x16 chunks that's being used now for performance improvement especially coming in the 1.17 update and LODS greatly improve probable render distance

Yes 3D Chunks would be a great performance saver as well as the use of LODs for further away chunks.

Yes LODS are fantastic no doubt though I wonder why the game does 16xinfinitex16 chunks instead of proposed cubed chunks? In theory performance would go through the roof since you're rendering like 70% or such less needless chunks!
