More craftable shields

Currently shields can only be made of wood and iron. But what about other ores. Gold shields,diamond shields and netherite shields. Every shield has the same recipe. But instead of the iron in the middle you put other gems and ingots. Hope you like this idea.

    I do like it. It could be more durable too. I just don't want it to look like the same ore type because that would make it look weird. I like the way the normal shield looks. Sure I'd like it to look different for every ore you use on it, but not plain. Like diamond armor. It's just plain diamond. The only difference is the color. I don't if you understand what I'm saying but this is the best example I can give.
