Nightingale Floors with Amethyst Blocks

The idea is pretty simple: allow the Amethyst sound to be triggered when walking on a wood block (or any block) placed above an Amethyst block. This would allow for an alarm system that was used in feudal Japan, nightingale floors. Basically nails were arranged in such a way where they would squeak against each other and alert people to the presence of assassins (or so the story goes)

  I upvoted, but you can kind of do this by using amethyst as the floor and placing a layer of carpet over it. I realize it's not the same but it's a way of making it work in the meantime.
