Axolotls are lazy by nature. So lazy in fact, that they flick their gills when relaxing in order to move the water around so they don't have to move to get oxygen. I think that in Minecraft, when an axolotl is not following a player, hunting prey, or engaged in a battle with a hostile mob, it should seek out blocks, where it will rest on their surface rather than idly swim around. This will provide more realism to the game, and maybe educate some people on the true nature of axolotls in real life. Thanks! P.S Not really sure what to make this topic of, but I'll just do Caves & Cliffs, since axolotls are an upcoming feature to that update. If I get it wrong, I'm sorry.
