Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Mob locator.

So I was thinking that you could craft a block, or some sort of item that would locate  mobs, for example you can place down a block, and right click it with a map and it will show little heads for all of the mobs at your general y level. I could also see an individual locator like a zombie locator or a creeper locator.
