Improvements from a PC player for bedrock and Java

Hey there!

I have been a long-time player of the Java edition a long time. I originally was exposed to Minecraft through the Xbox 360 edition when it first came out. I really like the idea of bedrock, especially how it performs in comparison to the Java edition. The one thing I would bring to the Java edition is working to bring its performance to that level. I am really fond of shaders and would like to see more of a platform for Bedrock to see these shaders outside of RTX cards or purchases. It would be nice for things to be a little more compatible. Right now I find that the differences between the bedrock and Java are so different I only desire to really play Bedrock to play with my brothers who play on consoles. This is a shame and something that I would really like to see change. I almost entirely wish there was compatibility for Java users to just play on the same realms, though I know that is likely impossible. I hope this serves as a good point of reference to see what someone who has played a whole lot of Minecraft feels about the current state of Java and Bedrock.
