Protected Diamond Patches

Below Y 0, there would be diamond patches in addition to regular patches that are surrounded by a crust. The crust is made of a block that can only be mined by a pickaxe after the diamond tier. This would give a reason to return to older caves after you upgraded your diamond gear.

  FlowerButterfli Yes, netherite would be strong enough, any pickaxe post-diamond could break the crust block.
