Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ore bricks

Putting ores and/or their ingots in a 2x2 crafting grid will give their respective ore brick. These bricks aren’t made to power a beacon or make an iron golem with, but they’re made for building and doesn’t look odd and ugly (like the iron block, sorry). The bricks are only used for building; however, only coal bricks can be used as fuel and spread fire.

    I don't think people normally make bricks out of those materials...

    Maybe for Iron/Gold there could be another kind of block crafted with 4, that looks more similar to the Copper or Cut Copper blocks.
