The higher the experience level, the tougher mobs/ores get but better loot

The experience bar above your hotbar doesn't seem to do much except get wasted on enchantments. Maybe the higher the level, the tougher mobs get, and the longer it takes to mine. However, you'll get much better loot when killing mobs and more resources when mining.

I agree with the higher the xp the stronger the mobs get, but it should also act like luck. The higher xp increases a players luck so better and more loot from all mob kills, increased fishing luck, and also have a mining luck where ores like diamond can drop more than one. Adding this along with the Efficiency while mining diamonds would be amazing

Wasted on Enchantments? It takes forever to get 30 levels. And it's useful for naming and repairing things too.
