- Give more utilities for existing animals, instead of just the items they give. For example, for more utility for horses: add carriages. cows / pigs: add manure that are similar to bone meal. Cows could be used to pull plows. Add troughs for pigs.
- I feel like there should be a better way to farm animals, instead of putting hundreds of animals in a small enclosure, adding something to incentivize not having too many animals next to each other, or something similar. Maybe placing certain blocks around the animals makes them act differently, like mud blocks around pigs would make them play in the mud. Hay around horses would let them eat said hay.
- Having animals in enclosures for long enough should change skins and become "domesticated" and they won't despawn, or automatically follow you, etc.
- Add windmills or irrigation to power certain actions that could be added into something like this.
- Also more crops that have different purposes than just eating them, like some magical purpose or something similar.
- Overhaul how we farm crops, instead of putting crops in some automatic redstone design, maybe crops grow better in certain soils, or with certain blocks near them, maybe not being near certain crops, etc. Maybe you can't place crops in the same dirt over and over again like in real life, you have to change what crops you are farming in certain places to refill the nutrients in the crops.
This would be perfect, in my opinion, with a seasons update someone else mentioned in this forum.
