It seems that everyone wants something different from this game. Some want the most hardcore experience ever while others want to calmly explore this beautiful game without very much challenge. I think the best way to give everyone what they want is to introduce difficulties. I am not talking about default, adventure, apocalypse, apocalypse+. I'm talking about a way to make the game easier or harder with no impact on gear availability, or luck. I think there should be 7 difficulty levels. The easiest difficulty would be peaceful mode. In this difficulty all mobs would have 50% less health and deal 50% less damage. Players would also have infinite lives on this difficulty mode. The next difficulty would be very easy mode. It would be the same as peaceful mode but players would have the regular 3 respawns. Easy mode would have all mobs deal 25% less damage and have 25% less health. Normal mode would be the current balance of the game. Hard mode would have all mobs deal 25% more damage and have 25% more health. Very hard mode would have all mobs deal 50% more damage and have 50% more health. Extreme mode would be the same as very hard mode but players would get no respawns. Please implement this. It could only serve to benefit the game. I can't see any consequences to doing this.
