Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Staffs

Crafted with either 3 sticks or 3 blaze rods it would be a low damage weapon but has a chance to hit enemies twice and when crafted with blaze rods has a chance to set the enemy on fire.

    I like this idea, but I think it would be better as a special weapon/item that must be found (like the trident, and like it, cannot be crafted) in a structure that only generates on mountains.I'm imagining this as a tool one would value over the sword with certain enchantments (or as a twist, it wouldn't need them, it be like the turtle shell - constantly giving you an effect) in a specific environment.

    I'm thinking an enchantment that allows for the user to use the staff (like a fictional bo-staff) to jump/leap further and higher (imagine about 10 blocks further and 3 blocks higher - in an arc) when used. Not like riptide, as this couldn't work in water (or rain, too slippery) and it wouldn't replace the need/desire for one either.
    OR  the alternative enchantment could allow for the user to not jump far, but reach further than normal (of course only for PvP/MvP) perhaps around 6-8 blocks instead of 3 blocks with a sword.
