Ok so from what I can tell no one else has yet mentioned how useless the Redstone output from the brewing stand is and a desire for it to be made more useful. So... here's what it does currently.

Each section is additive to the next. So 20 Redstone fuel + 3 water bottles = 10 Redstone power but we don't have any progression while potions are brewing.
Here's what I'd like to see...

To me, this is intuitively what I'd expect when I first put a comparator on a brewing stand. Fuel in, maybe only two increments but eh left it as three for example, then water bottles, 1, 2, 3, signal strength now at 6, then first ingredient brews ding Redstone goes up 1, second in brews ding, goes up by 1 etc.
Now obviously not all potions will have the same Redstone output when done which is where the rest of the Redstone logic system comes in, minus comparators with carefully calibrated chests or hoppers for instance.
This would actually make it possible to do actual Redstone automation with the brewing stand. Currently, there's a lot of weird timer-based stuff happening for full auto brewers that are just... not intuitive.
