When playing a music disc, the mob or mob type within the audios radius susceptible to that particular discs effects will become affected. For instance, playing Pigstep around Piglins will cause them to become docile, and/or dance, for the duration of the track. Since Jukeboxes cant loop, I think it would be balanced. When you ditch Gold armor for all Netherite, you can play this to acheive the same effect. This would be used to great effect in builds and adventure maps. This can apply to other mobs. Perhaps a new spooky disc could cause undead mobs to lower their detection radius, make them docile, or dance. Or some other behavior that would be interesting. In a balanced way of course. Again, you cannot loop discs so the effect is only as long as the disc track. It could also just be the mobs are still dangerous, but moving in a silly way, like an easter egg. This would be great for animals too. I like the idea of getting a beneficial result though, it would give discs a strategic use, get them played with more and give them huge value to players, and since they're treasure items, they are in short supply, like Pigstep. It also adds a solid reason to include more music discs, which is always a good thing in of itself. Perhaps as part of a Music Update, which I hope we will see someday ;)
