Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Make Customizable Shields

You should be able to add banners and more enchantments to shields. With customizable shields, you could add a thorns book to your shield, so it would hurt if you try and break it (like in real life) and the ability to combine banners with them. The fact that you can't add banners to your shield yet is annoying, especially if you are new and when you want to show factions via your shield, you can't. This needs to be added, so that players can enjoy the game more and have fun with showing off who they are
