Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Building with amethyst

I think it'd be cool if we could build with amethyst. We can build with other similar blocks (iron, gold, copper, lapis lazuli, diamonds, etc.), so I think it would be neat to make an amethyst block that we could build with (then we could have purple builds, for those that might prefer purple). I also think it'd be neat if we could get something like a smooth amethyst block, so it looks similar to a gold or redstone block, instead of how it looks when generated with the world.

    Errr... you can. There are Amethyst blocks craftable with 4 shards. :/

    (There's no polished version though)
