Chimney swifts would be great! They could roost on bricks.

I want to see predatory birds, like hawks or eagles.

One way birds could be added to the game is by crafting a bird feeder and placing it in a temperate biome to spawn in songbirds that come in several different varieties (cardinals, robins, bluejays, mockingbirds, etc). That way the player can choose whether they want birds or not.
The songbirds can spawn in at dawn, despawn at night, and provide ambience by chirping. They can also help with mobs by going after spiders left over from the night. If a creeper is present, birds within 16 blocks from it will become silent and stand still.

I think even just having an ambient mob or texture- like a flock of birds high in the sky would be pixelated- would be cool on its own.

Even I would enjoy building a cage for Each Bird that could be found in the Overworld.

what a Very interesting idea, Perhaps we can find Birds Everywhere in any biome.

We could get an achievement for finding all birds and bringing them home with you.

Crows or ravens (they are two different species) in the dark forests and could attack if a player gets to close to their best like IRL
Also could steal shiny objects to put in the nest.

Ok hold on I said crows or ravens a sec ago but I remembered that in a lot of fantasy tale that crows are threat to the protagonist as either spies or will just attack so crows could be hostile mobs that spawn around woodland mansions or could take part in raids (maybe only raids in forests so the fit no crows In deserts)

I love the idea and from an Australians perspective this idea is missing one thing, and one thing only...

MAGPIES! Like the bees this is a neutral mob. This mob becomes hostile whenever you go near their nest they when they become hostile they will swoop you! But not only you can trigger the magpie to become hostile, in fact any mob that goes near the magpie nest will be swooped!

Unfortunately there is a disease called magpie pox this disease can only infect magpies spread awareness across the world before it's too late.

Como os peixes tropicais, que tem muitas variações, mas com os pássaros, cada variação teria um local de nascimento e costumes diferentes

YESSSS PLEASEEEE! It would be so great to see birds flying over. I would love to see flamingos in deserts, cormorant and ducks in the waters and maybe owls in all the bimones' forrests! Would surely add a lot of fun!

Add hawks (tameable) to minecraft. to tame them you will need a special item, a falconeers glove. you get it from a pillager outpost and once you get it, you can tame the hawk and use it like a drone with a 50x50x50 block radius. and if you lock on to a mob while its flying and press trigger or right click it will swoop down and attack the mob in question and if you lock on and press trigger when youre not flying it will be like a heat seeking missile, mercilessly hunting its prey until it is dead, and bring you the drop. and if you leave it idle it it will fly around you in that same 50x50x50 block radius making sure nothing hurts you and will hunt down and kill any thing in that territory

I think that having a spawn egg such as the tropical fish would be more efficient and allow for greater variety, while specific biomes could have one or two special species, for example: Owls, Ravens/Crows, Eagles, Hummingbirds, etc... Having a generic bird would be far more plausible, and could incorporate nesting mechanics.

We could have a falconer villager and maybe we could get a falcon from them and it could help us get food.

    I totally agree here!!
Cardinals and Blue Jays could be a fun resident to the cherry blossoms too!!
I would also like some birds of prey, like owls and eagles! And of course our old pal the vulture to scour the deserts with its angry glare, waiting for zombies and left behind items to gnaw on.
Maybe birds could drop an item unique to their type that could work like banner patterns, except instead of banners they could be used for elytra customization. I think that’d be really fun!!
