Renewable Spore Blossoms

What if, over time, spore blossoms slowly grew out long tendrils to adjacent blocks, the tips of which would eventually grow into new spore blossoms?

    Maybe just bonemealing it? It would make sense, since all two-block tall flowers drop another one of the same kind. Why couldn't spore blossoms?

    Or you just bonemeal the ceiling or Spore blossom. Or bonemealing a set of hanging roots

    Are you could make it so you can sheer them to get a seed

    As a player I enjoy collecting blocks but don't like destroying the naturally generated feel of a biome. Removing a spore blossom would feel bad so I'd like to be able to collect either a seed to be able to grow them myself or bonemeal them for extra spore blossoms.
