Making Mapart, using Noteblocks, and taking screenshots of your builds is amazing, but they could have the potential of being one of the most cherished features of the game. I will be frank: making Mapart, and using Noteblocks, is very cumbersome and very, very time consuming. So much so that only a small segment of players use them. I humbly beseech the team to consider some way (a game mechanic, GUI, an Art Update, an add on) to enable players to make their own art in a more focused and flexible way. Essentially, something like custom paintings, a music GUI that you can somehow play or record for playback. I also thought it might be interesting to see a kind of photo mode, like the old filters, brought back so players could take custom screenshots, like B&W, Sepia, Grainy, Polaroid and other interesting filters to match the vibe of the scene. You could still make Mapart, and Noteblocks could still be a kind of early game option, but having the option to make the art you want, at just the cost of items and materials, without putting down tens of thousands of blocks and leaving them there, or hundreds of noteblocks far from your base for a short tune, would be an absolute blessing. A mercy even. An update that added these features would be legendary. There are many great suggestions for how to execute these and I hope the devs will consider expanding this aspect of Minecrafts capabilities as a whole.
