The idea simply changes biome generation to make real life biome zones based on longitude and latitude for example from a map point of view the northern and southern most points of the map generate colder biomes whereas dead center of the map would be deserts evolving towards Sahara. Now obviously certain biomes within the game only generate in real based on precipitation or mountains such as a temperate rainforest which is real lifes equivalent of the large spruce forest and although I would love to see representation of biomes generated also based on nearby oceans lakes ect. I know how frustrating that could be to code so simply adding a longitude and latitude aspect would be amazing the final issue would be that if this generation was made possible what happens when you reach colder biomes does the cold biome go on for ever well no and I have either 2 solutions 1 realistic and one not so realistic the nin realistic version would be the implementation of a loop so when you head to the northern most point and go passed it you appear on the southern most point just a round earth instead of a flat one except it only needs to be for north and south the second option is that when you go past the southern or northern most point the game simply restarts the generation so on a map it would look like a repeating layers cake of biome all in all I would love to see this added to the game as a world generation option it would make roleplaying and realism much more in tune with reality.
