Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Single-use, but very strong, Amethyst tools

Amethyst could be used to craft Amethyst tools and weapons, which would be as strong as diamond and could have other properties, but would be single-use - they’d have extremely low durability, and enchanting them with Unbreaking could allow for up to 2 uses.

    Amethyst pickaxe.
    It does instamine, but instabreaks too. It can Mine up to 8 blocks if that is an ore, else it mines only one. Has a diamond (or higher) tier

    Amethyst Hoe.
    Hoes hoeable blocks within double reach distance if they are close enough to water.

    Amethyst Axe.
    Chops all tree down, then breaks

    Amethyst Sword. (call it the pepper spray)
    Leaves half a heart to your enemy, you can end it with your fist (does 1/16 full health damage for bosses); also instabreaks.
