The Mage would be similar to the blacksmith, in that she or he allows for a weapon to be deposited for a price (e.g. enchantment points) and it comes back updated. Instead of upgrading the level they re-roll SELECTED enchantments. This would be useful when you get a weapon that you really like most of (say a unique) but some of the enchantments are not what you want. For example tonight I got a unique “frost foil” rapier, but it did not have radiance which is the enchantment I like to use the most with this weapon.
Having the ability to select the enchantments would key key to avoid a decent weapon becoming worse. The specific enchantments you get could be randomized…..but great if you could pick specifics, or influence the odds, for a higher price.
