Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Can you please add Benches to Minecraft?

    Yes! It should be a simple design though, so it wont be too much like a chair or tables. In other words, a block were players can sit, moved by pistons and look like a trapdoor at half block (at the heigh of a slab), supported with two legs at their sides that ends in a inverted V shape to support on the ground (or be completely flat, as it would be so small anyways). Players could build fancy chairs using the bench as a base block, to actually sit on there, make a safe flying machine or even connect them together for a fancy roof or other build details. In other words, this wont remove the craft and creativity part from the game as Mojang worries, because this block wont have too much details for a chair as it would basically look like a thinner slab.
