Introduction: The Mantle would be the farthest distance the player can travel below ground. The walls and floors are filled with scorching hot lavafalls and lava pools, with hot magma chambers that form near the lava. This place is so hot that water instantly evaporates. It is very rare for the player to naturally find the biome while exploring, as the most common way to get there is by digging down. For how deep this biome is, it would be isolated from the other cave biomes, being beneath them all.
Scorched Lava: Scorched Lava is a more dangerous and potent version of regular lava. It brings more damage upon burning players, and it's so hot that it melts nearly every block in the game. It melts near-surface blocks and stones the fastest such as Dirt, Granite, Cobblestone, etc. Blocks that melt slower against the Scorched Lava are blocks such as Netherrack, Blackstone, Crimson/Warped Wood, Basalt, and Deepslate. There are only 2 blocks that can't be melted, which are Magma and Obsidian. This adds more strategy when it comes to bridging across the lava in this biome as the player's bridge has to use different materials and avoiding to fall into the lava from their collapsing platform.
Common Ores: Ores like Diamond, Iron, Redstone, and Coal are very common in this biome and come in big chunks. Pickaxes made of Iron or lower cannot be used or else they melt. With temperature being so hot, mining Iron instantly turns them into ingots. But mining in this biome will be difficult.
