Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Stone Tablets (different from another suggestion on here!)

(Before you start reading, there is another suggestion on here that goes by the same name but the idea is completely different to this one!)

Stone Tablets!

This would be a collection of items obtained through archeology, just like the ceramic shards.

They would work like paintings - they can be placed on walls to display some ancient texts and drawings. However, unlike paintings, they come in a collection of individual items, so you can't just get 1 tablet and keep placing and destroying it until you get the one you want.

The tablets would work really well with the clay pots and would allow more elaborate stories to be told or discovered!

If you get a tablet and you don't want it, or it is a duplicate of one you already have, you could maybe smelt them into stone or sell them to villagers for emeralds.

I think these would be brilliant for museums and players are asking for new paintings for ages and I think these would be the perfect opportunity since they are just like paintings!

    it's so cool how one item can be interpreted in so many different ways! I posted my own interpretation recently and didn't even know there were two more!

    also, what if the tablets (your interpretation) were the size of a block and unfinished, so the player can connect a bunch of them together to make up their own painting? this way, the duplicates don't have to be a bad thing
