Adding oxidation stages to the Block of Raw Copper would not only add to the oxidation system, but add even more building blocks. The new blocks would go well with existing blocks like Red Sandstone and Prismarine.
One example could be the use of a non-oxidized Block of Raw Copper as red sandstone cobblestone.
