This totem would bring you back to your latest spawn point. This includes interacting with a bed or respawn anchor. If either of these blocks weren’t interacted with or destroyed, the player will return to the world spawn.
To activate this totem, the player would have to hold down right click (similar to eating food) for a decent amount of time.
To obtain the Totem of Recalling I would say to add it to either underground structures (mineshafts, dungeons) or add it to something that would generate up high in the mountains.
