I feel like flowering azaleas should be able to be trimmed with shears, and should grow back their flowers automatically, though maybe that should happen only when in range of a beehive. (Like, they have to be pollinated to grow back). It feels weird that you can't go between the two, they're 2 versions of the same plant. Also, I can already tell that it's going to be difficult to find azalea leaves reliably (One tree per lush cave is pretty sparse). So...
I feel like you should get leaves from the azalea bush when trimming it. (Maybe keep the same drop rate of flowering leaves as when breaking the leaves with shears)
Maybe when you shear them you have a chance to get a spore blossom? Or like, a "spore blossom start" (like an item version so it makes more sense)?
I dunno, this probably sounds so small to most people that it shouldn't be added, but I mean that's kinda the point. An easier source of Azalea leaves would definitely be nice.
While some players may want to just trim it themselves, I also feel it's important to support the redstone community, so the process should definitely be able to be automatic by using dispensers. But beggars can't be choosers, I guess. If Mojang decides, they decide.
