Many people are requesting specific colours or texture for azalea wood.
Instead, I suggest having azalea wood be white or very light and allowing it to be dyed, which would give it pastel tones. Dying could be done on the crafting bench or perhaps on the cauldron, like leather armor in Bedrock Edition.
We already have many possibilities with strong colours in wool, concrete and shulker boxes, so this would be a nice way of adding a pastel posibility to players and make Azaleas even more interesting.
Azaleas take us to amazing new biomes, it feels almost like a waste that such a special tree gets oak wood :)
Also. the community understands how much work the Caves and Cliffs update will need and we don't want to add new unplanned features and further stress the Mojang team :) This is just an idea and it really doesn't matter when it gets implemented IF you guys at Mojang think it's worth implementing.
