Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Chorus Wood

Chorus plants should be re-worked, so it gives you the branch/trunk part when you break them. And using those you can make Chorus Wood, a new wood type that is purple in coloration. The Chorus fruits would grow on the branches similar to Cocoa Beans, and the Flowers would work the way they do now.

    Ive made a few suggestions that we should add non full block trees to shake things up. Bamboo is small but grows quickly and you combine many pieces to make a full block like scaffolding. Chorus trees could drop a bunch of (placeable?) sections and you can combine them to make planks. In this vein we could see tall, thin palm trees, like chorus plants, using a similar conceit. This is the kind of evolution I would like to see MC take. The game is always going to be about the blocks, but it would be very nice to have more non blocky things to break up the world and make it more interesting. Stalagmites and Stalactites are a good example of this. Almost every mod has them blocky, but the devs went with the better option and it looks so good. We can have both!
