Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glow Ink Sacs and Ink Sacs

As a fan of Glow Squid and Squid, I want their drops to control the shade of a specific set of blocks, mainly the Banners, Beds, Concrete, Terracotta and Wool Blocks. Glow Ink Sacs should be right-clicked on a block to brightens the shade of a specific block. Kind of similar to Light Block in some ways. Ink Sacs should be right-clicked on a block to darkens the shade of a specific block. I think this could help in making pixel arts, add depth to your builds and maybe help you find your way home using this brightly colored blocks.

    How about glowing sheets and banners with that too. And glowing carpets.
