These are two common Ideas in the community but I thought that I should put them together in one post for convenience. Netherite horse armour and strider armour. Ok to be totally honest since netherite armour doesn't actually give you more armour than diamond the netherite horse armour is theoretically useless but would look way cooler and would probably be pretty rare (maybe found in bastions, ruined portals or nether fortresses?) but might be enchantable for a more practical use, making these rarer and more valuable than any other horse armour. as for strider armour I think it would be cool if it could be obtained by trading with piglins (with leather being the most common all the way up to netherite). Though this, in my opinion is ESSENTIAL it would make striders much more practical for use. The one problem with striders is they aren't exactly the toughest and need armour.
