More Weapons With More Uses

there could be animals that drop parts you can turn into weapons with a different use, like for example the axe can break shields and it does a lot of damage but there could be a knife that poisons or pokes through shields but does less damage so that its not just using one weapon to kill an enemy but more strategizing the kill.
