Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. On the legacy console editions, and I think java edition. You have the ability to enchant any item you want if you combine the item with an enchanted book. You can get cool stuff such as a raw cod with knock back 2 on it, or a sharpness 5 stick. These could be used to make cool mini games, and just a cool new edition in the game on general.
