Better donkeys

Donkeys don’t get as much attention as horses in Minecraft. Here are a few suggestions to make them better.

1. Give donkeys different colorations. There are several different colors that donkeys can have such as white, pale orange, brown, black, dark grey and light grey. This would be nice since currently all donkeys are one color but horses have 25 combinations.

2. Donkeys should have more varying stats when spawned in the wild. Currently the only difference among donkeys spawned in the wild is the amount of health it has. Donkeys have set jump height and run speed when spawned in any method other than breeding.

3. Donkeys, horses, and mules should be able to be fed carrots.

These all seem like quality of life upgrades that would make donkeys in Minecraft a little more interesting than before. I would greatly appreciate it if these changes were made (the bread one isn’t too important to me).

    I would also like to have donkeys ride boats in Java Edition.

    I highly favor these suggestions. Plus I think it would be realistic to add following to donkeys. For example, lamas follow when you lead one. In real life donkeys tend to follow their person and often follow other donkeys in a line without any gear needed. It is just their mentality.

    I too wish donkeys got more love in Minecraft. They are sweet and intelligent creatures. And they do have pretty colors too.
