Given the summer update for Caves & Cliffs is going to still be including all of the new blocks in the game, I think that this is a great time to allow for Deepslate Coal, Emerald, and Copper ore to be put into the generation cycle. Since once the holiday update comes out, Deepslate will only be able to generate below Y=0, I think this is the perfect time to have the Deepslate ore variants that you wouldn't be able to normally get in that update be able to generate in survival.
There is something to be said about players being unable to obtain blocks in survival if the world is generated after the holiday update comes out, however this isn't new. Petrified Oak Slabs can only be found in worlds made prior to 1.3 (unless cheated in), so I think that this should be a nice little bonus for those who may start their world in the summer update or before. Maybe more of an incentive to keep an existing world going because you can only get those blocks in those older worlds. Just my idea, personally, but I do think that it should be a thing.
