Simple bookshelf update

I saw some good but controversal ideas for bookshelves, but I don't see the simpliest of all.

You could add a new texture for bookshelves, which is different for all four sides (even an empty one) and and make the block itself directionally placable. It would be cool and not a huge makeover, but make the enchanting area and the sight of custom libraries more interesting.
